What does Halal mean for a consumer?

How does a Halal package differ?
Strict slaughtering rules are obeyed in manufacturing collagen casings. It means e.g. that the slaughter may only be performed by a Muslim without stunning. Arteries may only be cut once, with a special prayer being said at the same time. An animal must not suffer or observe other animal being slaughtered.
We only use Halal certified additives and polymers of sound quality. All ingredients for Halal production must be humane towards the environment and man. A level of environment and health impact is thoroughly examined during certification.
High standards of cleanliness and safety are maintained. Halal is not only concerned with what but also with how. Any facility producing Halal must ensure that its manufacturing process and personnel comply with exceptional cleanliness and order requirements.
All materials and production facilities are subject to a strict certification procedure to meet the standards of the Russian Council of Muftis (or similar standards abroad). Any further change in Halal production needs to be approved.
